These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CareSheet ("we," "us," or "our") at caresheet.app. By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

CareSheet lets you create Care Sheets for your pets and share them with pet sitters, dog walkers, and anyone who looks after your animals. A Care Sheet is a private web page containing your pet's care instructions, schedules, contacts, and other information you choose to include.

Accounts

You need an account to create and manage Care Sheets. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to CareSheet, including pet information, photos, and care instructions. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the pet care information you provide. If you grant editor access to collaborators, they may also modify your pet's care information. CareSheet is a communication tool and we do not verify or endorse the care instructions on any Care Sheet, regardless of who entered or edited the information.

Sharing and Privacy

When you share a Care Sheet link, anyone with that link (and password, if set) can view the information on it. You are responsible for sharing links only with people you trust. You can deactivate or delete share links at any time to revoke access.

Collaborators

You may invite other CareSheet users to collaborate on your pets. Collaborators can be granted editor or viewer access:

• Editors can view and modify your pet's care information and manage share links.
• Viewers have read-only access to your pet's care information.

As the pet owner, you are responsible for choosing who to invite and what access level to grant. You can remove collaborators at any time. Collaborators can also leave on their own.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the service to distribute spam or malicious content
• Interfere with or disrupt the service

Subscriptions and Billing

CareSheet offers a free plan and a paid Premium plan. Premium may be purchased as a recurring monthly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase through our payment processor, Stripe. By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize us to charge the applicable fee to your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time from your Settings page. When you cancel, you keep Premium features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account returns to the free plan. Lifetime purchases are one-time and do not renew. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

We may change recurring subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply at the start of your next billing period after the notice.

Service Availability

We strive to keep CareSheet available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control.

CareSheet supports offline access through cached data stored on your device. Cached Care Sheets may not reflect the most recent changes. Always check for an internet connection when you need the latest information.

Limitation of Liability

CareSheet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to any harm resulting from reliance on pet care information shared through Care Sheets, whether that information was entered by the pet owner, a collaborator, or any other party. Always use your own judgment when caring for animals.

Termination

You can stop using CareSheet at any time. If you have an active recurring Premium subscription, cancel it first from your Settings page to avoid further charges. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, but you may request deletion of your data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
